Philippines Good News

While many other countries are experiencing ‘bad weather’, the Philippines has become a popular place for anyone who wants to expand their horizon, enjoy a better life, have fun and make some money overseas.

The Philippines is a place where your dwindeling retirement savings can still be used to live in luxury on a typical retirement income; even walk out your front door, cross the white sand, and dive into warm, turquoise waters.

Now is the time for all OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) to promote the Philippines by explaining to their employer or any business-contacts abroad that for example a complete island (Tablas) is being developed here to become a Sustainable World Class Destination. It would bring more jobs and thus would benefit the relatives of OFW.

Philippines Business & Entrepreneurs Consultancy

We have formed a powerful group of expats living in the Philippines who are entrepreneurs and specialist in the field of Sustainable Development, Tourism, Real Estate & Construction, Agriculture, Philippine Law, Investment, Health Care, Immigration, Marketing and Website/Video Optimization.

Our group assists developers and other expats to set up a business (‘Managed by Expats, Enjoyed by Expats’) or retire in the Philippines.

Together with the Philippine government we are developing selected locations as Unique World Class Sustainable Tourism & Retirement Havens which retain their beauty and quiet and idyllic lifestyle.

Other projects of us are focussed on Organic Farming, Sustainable Scuba Diving Sites, SEO and Video Marketing Outsourcing.

We like to talk to other entrepreneurs who understand the word 'Sustainable'

Tablas should not become "the next Boracay"

Tablas Island in the Philippines (only 1 hour flight from Manila) offers money-saving, life-improving, travel-rich opportunities. Tablas has it all; tranquility, scuba diving, fish sanctuarys, caves, water falls, island hopping and is just a short boat ride from the world famous Boracay Island (24/7 Sand, Sun and Party). Tablas is still 'nature as it should be', and we like to keep it that way.

We, Will Irwin and Chris Bech (both married to a Filipina) are developing the island of Tablas as a tourism- and retirement haven but we will also conserve the environment and sustain the well-being of local people by establishing partnerships with residents and government.

Benefits for them will be numerous and parts of profits will flow back to them in the form of reducing unemployment, having livelihood programs, scholing and other projects.

"Tourism can kill tourism"

We have to regulate tourism, impose limits, a Zero Waste Policy and do’s and don'ts. Quality versus Quantity; a constantly painful (but neccessary) decision/trade off in Tablas' tourism.
We have to avoid ‘mass market’ tour companies who simply use 'Eco Tourism' as a gimmick to increase profits and attract a clean image. Sustainable Tourism is much more than Eco-Tourism.

Instead of catering to market demand we will be focusing on maintaining the product/experience. Our focus is on small scale, well-operated eco-tourism ventures instead of short-term ventures which have often damaged those very assets upon which they depend.

We have two projects in progress:

An organic farm
(see also www.PhilAgriVest.com)

A unique luxury ocean front retirement village 'Managed by Expats, Enjoyed by Expats'; Sunset Beach Villas Tablas. An escape from the rat-race.
(see also www.SunsetBeachVillas.com)

Regularly we bring people from the media and government officials to our Organic Farm project which is very near our Sunset Beach Villas project. Some investors like to build their house right on the farm because of the Cool Breeze which is comparable with Baguio and Tagaytay. Big difference is the cost...

Tablas Tourism is also on our agenda; 'tailor-made' trips that focus on Sustainable Tourism. We want to make sure that tourists are assisted from the moment they step outside the airplane untill they step inside again; a Hassle Free unforgetable experience.
While some expats prefer to live in one of our retirement villages; others like to build their house on one of the many individual (prime-) private lots and little islands which we have secured all over Tablas Island.

Remarkably, many Filipinos (OFW's) who are working abroad tell us that they assumed that the Philippines has no 'sustainable retirement locations' and thus they considered other Asian countries for their retirement... untill they found us.

Tablas Island Investors

Tablas will see a huge boost in development and many investors approach us to take advantage of our pre-construction deals and pre-sale of real estate. Prices of real estate are still very low but rising as we speak. It is our duty to convince them that Sustainable Development is the only way to secure the future of Tablas.

"Most people think that starting an internetcafe, running a boardinghouse or buying a condotel in the Philippines is profitable; well, it isn't." according to Will. "So we had to look for better options, and we found those at the island of Tablas which is booming and thus offers great opportunities."

FREE assistance to obtain a Philippines Visa
In the Philippines, the Special Resident Retiree Visa Program is available to any foreigner 35 years or older; also when not married to a Filipina.
A deposit of $10,000 is required for anyone over 50 years and has at least a $800 monthly pension. Anyone accepted in the program gets permanent residence status and can deposit his pension in a Philippine bank tax-free.

Even when you decide to not join our group, we still offer free assistance to obtain a SRRV for immigration in the Philippines. Hassle-Free

This is what you should do now:

Meet other people in Tablas just like you who are already living the good life overseas and can give you a 'been-there-done-that' guidance. They'll cut years off your learning curve.

Think about it this way: It's one thing to read about Tablas Island. It's another to have a beer with somebody who's already living there. You get a whole different level of insight
