characters and conditions. Really depends on where you are going
and what you are planning to do.
If you are an Expat relocating to manila to work in a
multinational company, your office would most probably be
located in an upscale city like Makati. You would most probably
be living in an upscale neighborhood as well. Living in Manila Philippines has almost everything, and is the
heart of the Philippines. It is the "National Capital Region",
consisting not only of the city of Manila, but the contiguous
cities around it. Living in Manila Philippines is like living in
a very big, exciting city, hard for some to deal with and not
reflective of the Philippines as whole. If you have only been in
Manila you have not been to the Philippines.
There are many places to live, save with amenities. On a $1,000
a month in some places you will feel like a millionaire and be
treated as one, a strange experience for some. Depending on your comfortable level, in a small city or town you
can have a good life on as little as $600 per month. But Living
in Manila Philippines you will not be comfortable with less than
$1,000, unless you don't have many materialistic needs. $I,500
is better, but not required.
Even for that reason are places
like Manila, Davao, Cebu, Boracay, Davao and Bacolod city, a
wonderful living in the Philippines.
